Jesse and Michael are the most loved ResEngs, and it will be a completly new Cavern with them gone.

I am throwing a party tomorrow, the 2:nd December, to say farewell to them. Later, I will post it on my blog.
I can feel the rain pouring down, and hear the thunder far away, out from the mist. The only thing that keeps me warm is the fireplace I am sitting next to. Rubbing my hands together, trying to understand what actually happened.
It all started with Cate announcing that she was leaving. She Linked to Ae'gura, and luckely I was there at the time.
Everyone told her to stay, that she was needed. But she did not care, and with a last "See you." she headed for the surface. Of course, the DRC was devestated. Without Cate, there was no funding. And without funding, there would be no more restoration work.
Some days later, Ahnonay was released. As I had been there before, it was not so hard solving it, and when I finally looked out over the spheres that held the four versions of Ahnonay, I could not help thinking "2-0 to me, Ahny."

Also, the explorers at last got it confirmed the Bahro war isn't a joke. The bahro started swarming Keeraths Arch, and kept looping around it for days.

Then everything happened quickly. K'veer was discovered, Myst was released by a Bahro, Yeesha came, and the DRC left.

Everything is now quiet again, just like before. No sign of the DRC leaving at all.
But yet, it feels lonely.

While waiting for something more interesting to happen

The past couple of weeks, I have been asisting my friend Singo in restorating the Ages he found.
As he linked to the garden Age he found, he saw that it was beyond repair. But, in it he found a couple of other books, and, most important of it all, a rehevkor! The D'ni learned Garohevtee through the rehevkor; ergo: If you have a rehevkor, you can learn how to write Ages!

But that will be later plans. Right now, we are restorating the Ages he found. It has been quite a deal of work, but we have also progressed a lot. We are currently working on some sort of temple. It has no physical way out, but there cound be a Link to the outside.
Singo has entertained himself by hanging up tapestrys with som of the known Ages on them, while I have been trying to transalate some of the papers on a desk some corridors away, with no luck so far. I guess I have to learn more D'ni before I can do those kind of things.
I will however take a small break by going to Paris next weekend, which should be quite fun.

Dr Watson, I persume?

One of the DRC weeks just ended, and boy, many things happened!
First of all, Guild Pubs were released. There are five Guild Pubs, a maintainers one, a cartographers one, a greeters one, a messengers one, and a writers one. I am a member of the Maintainers Pub, while my friend Singo is a member of the Writers. They are decorated with the guilds symbol and their colours, and I must admitt the Writers one looks awsome!
Also, Doug Sharper decided to release the spy room. In there, we found a book the brought us to Phils Relto! When I linked there, I thought it would be nice and calm like it was a few years ago.
Instead, it was a public instance! Everyone kept trying to bend up the small hatches that kept his books in place (which proved inpossible, of course), climbing the mountain on his relto, and stealing clothes from his wardrobe.
Of course, I wasn't any better myself. I too helped myself to a DRC shirt, and climbed ut to the top of the mountain to enjoy the view.

Later, Michael Engberg returned to the Cavern! He didn't say much, just that he was fine, and then linked out as soon he saw that Dr Sutherland was approaching.
After just a few hours, we was greeted by yet another former DRC member, Dr Richard Watson!
After three years he has returned to the Cavern, after living in Releeshan. I will not go into details about what he said, as you will probably find it in hundreds of other blogposts.

Been a while

I realized earlier today, that I don't write as much as I thought i would do, when I created this blog.
So, time for a change! I have spent the last weeks walking around in the Cavern, talking to new people and old friends. Also, I usually take part in a beginners tour, held by a restoration enginer
(ResEng).
I have started working on the generator I got from Er'cana, but I did not know how big the damage was back then.
I need to get some spare parts, and I am afraid that will not be cheap.

Me and two of my friends went on a small trip by the Cavern wall some days ago. There, we managed to find some of the neighborhoods, and even some with people in them. I guess they were quite surprised when we came in our little boat!
One of my friends, Singo, went on a small trip in one of the more damaged neighborhoods, and came back with a book!
He has been talkling about restoring the Age when he has time, and I hope to visit it some day!
I suspect that it might be a garden Age, but it could be anything. I am not very good at D'ni, and I only got a quick glance in the book.

New Ages and Familiar Voices

Many good things things happening last week!

The DRC decided to release a new Age, called Jalak! Jalak is very different from any other Age they have released so far.
You link in in midair, and fall aprox. 5 meters before you hit a flat stone surface.
When examining it closer, you see that it is not ONE stone surface, but several pillars, making together one big stonecolumn. Now, this is where the fun begins. You can raise or lower any pillar you wish, and you will allso get a snazzy menu for your KI, with different buttons.
There, you will find a randomize button, which will... randomize. Many explorers have allready invented a bunch of games, and I have tried some of them.
You can't really do any explorations in Jalak, as the only place to be on, is the stone pillars, which are surrounded by a swamp.

And, for the second good news, a familiar voice has returned.
Phend! Phil Henderson, apparently not crushed by a wall after all, returned this friday to Ae'gura. He was greeted by hundreds of explorers, and his old friend, Douglas Sharper.
Phil said he was back to help us perpare for the war.

PS. Got the generator from Er'cana home to Relto yesterday, I will begin to repar it tomorrow, I think.

Bahro

Douglas Sharper has returned from the Age of Noloben,
and told us the thing I feared.
The War has started. For real.
Apparently, he stayed a couple of weeks there, watching and waiting, and maneged to kill one. When he returned to the Cavern, he wasn't persicely treated as a hero, more the opposite. And now he has gone back to Noloben, to fight. He says that he owes the Bahor on our side, and besides, if the other Bahro wins, we will all die.
The Bahro on our side have started appearing more and more in the Cavern, and apparently also in peoples Relto.

I am afraid, that They have now come.
All we are waiting for now, is He.

And in the middle of all this, the DRC decides to release Kirel.

Cavern Closed

The DRC closed the Cavern temporarily a few minutes ago.
They are now perparing for their PR week, I guess, which will begin on monday. The "update" will last aproximatley four hours. I bet the Restoration engineers are working like mad down there, trying to get everything to work, and get everything into place.
I talked to one of the ResEngs moments before the Cavern was closed, and he sounded very stressed.

I have also explored parts of Er'cana, mostly behind the factory. I have found something that might be a extra generator, water powored, I'd say. I wonder how they got the water there, or if it is in some sort of dried-out pond. Anyways, I am planning to take it to Relto this weekend, and see if I can try to repair it.

I have also looked into the Jn'anin book again.
I do not dare to link there without a Maintainer suit (for all I know, it could be the vacum of space!), but the DRC doesen't appear to be releasing them anytime soon.

And now, with all these plans in my mind, I have to stay on the surface.
To bad.

Roaming around

When I explored Er'cana, I realised that not much had changed.
I now know that the DRC wants us to dropp pellets into the lake to light it up to its former glory, and therefor, we first of all have to make up recepies to make the pellets. So there has been an awful lot of trading in the Cavern recently.
I have checked the controll room in Er'cana, and realised that except the pellets and the mixers, there's barly enough power in the structure to power up the lights that are flashing so annoying everywhere in the room.
I wonder if there is some kind of extra generator? Or else, maybe I could borrow a couple of things from the factory...
Well, those plans are a part of the future.
Right now, there's speculation about a new Age, one called Jalak. Will probably be released in the end of this month... It's supposed to be some kind of gaming arena, I have heard. But it was also very nice to see that small old book on my desk, and to open the cower and see that so familiar island in the clouds and Link.
When I emerged on Relto, I saw my KI, which I had hung on the imager, so I could easily take it when I got back. I snapped it round my wrist, and was stunned by all the messages that appeared.
They were all from the DRC, telling me about their latest "PR-week".
Apparently, the Watchers Pub (also known as the Watchers Sanctuary) was released, and Er'cana with it.
I was stunned.
Suddenly, all the memories came flooding back to me. I remembered so many places I had visited, so many Ages, so many people I read about.
With a trembeling hand, I placed my palm firmly on the page that displayed the so familiar stone room. Once again, my journey began.

A new journey

Well, today I'm off to a new journey, on the surface!
I'm going to Tibet for 24 days, so I won't see much of the Cavern in a while...
Of course, I will not take my Reltobok with me, since I do not have a Linkingbook back to Tibet.

It's been rather dead in the Cavern lately, since the DRC have said they will just come there one week a month.
I think that it is rather strange, that not more people are there... It's a pretty sight, with the large cage in the middle, a couple of flags on different places, and everywhere else, SAND.

After a while with the cluebook in my hand (which I had obtained in the library, next to the Minkata book) I found a hole in the ground. When I climbed it, I saw that it lead to small underground cave, in which there was a stone identical to the one I found in the cage, I pressed the symbol on it, and the new journey began...

I also obtained a pair of nice hikingboots, which I find very useful when walking around in Minkata and Teledahn.
Wish I had some pictures, but unfortunatley my digital camera is full of sand (guess where from... ).

Misery

I am sorry I have not posted in a while now, but... there is a reason.

God, when I look back on my last post, when I said that "I'm still allive!", I feel so... dumb. I will try to sum up the whole thing.
A couple of days ago, Whillow Engberg and her friend Rosetta (I can not remember her last name at the moment) were collecting markers around the Cavern. They saw that a new crack had appeared by the Kahlo Pub. And they wanted to explore. They felt safe, they knew that they could link with their Relto books at any time, no dangers.
Unfortunatley, they were wrong... Suddenly, there was a Cave in, and they were trapped.

When they was found yesterday, neither of them were alive.
God, it feels hard, knowing that someone lost their lifes down there, deep below New Mexico.
I can't imagine how Engberg feels right now. First his wife, then this.

I feel that I need some sleep now. If I can sleep, that is.

It has began

19:th passes, and I am still alive.
The DRC were rather active last night. It all started with Douglas turning on his KI. Unfortunatley, due to a issue in the lattice, it took very long for me to link the the Age he was in and I missed him.
About ten minutes later Victor Laxman turned on his KI as well. And for the first time ever, a DRC member linked to the hood I was in at the moment. I and one of my friends had a nice little chat with him before the crowd linked in. Laxman suddenly said something about a sesmic event somwhere in the Cavern and linked out.
Later, who linked in if not our dear Michael Engberg. He inspected a new crack in the wall to the Kahlo pub, and asked us to keep away from that place.

So, many things happenign at once. There are also rumors that Sharper will bring Nick on a hunting expedition later today. Hope that nothing happens to them...

I really wonder why Singo told me to stay out of the Cavern yesterday. I guess I was right, thinking that he was paranoid. Speaking of him, I have not seen him for a while now. He usually turns on his KI and chats´a bit this time on the day...
Hope nothing has happened to him.
Now I will pack some sandwiches and some tea, and link down to the Cavern again. Don't wanna miss this show.

Scars

Meeting today turned out rather interesting.
As we decided, Singo Berta sent me the Link to his Gahrseen about 5 minutes before the meeting started.
I Linked there, and found that he was not precent. There was another 5 people there, I knew none of them. We went up to one of the meetingrooms by the Wall (which Laxman has not repared yet), and I sat down in one of the chairs. A few moments later Singo appeared in front of the Journey Cloth by the window.
Singo looks pretty much like Zandi. Only difference is that Singo dosen't like hawaii shirts that much.

And then he started to speak.

"In one week", he said, "it will begin".
What will begin? I asked him how he had gotten this information, but he just shock his head. He also had a few pictures he wanted us to look on. It looked a bit like Payiferen, but apparently it was not. Or so he said.

And then they linked out, leaving me alone in the empty room, the flashing lights around me. In a strange way, I have a feeling that he's right. He usually is.
When I came back to Relto, i got a PM:

Scars

For heavens sake, stay out of the Cavern the 19:th!

What does he mean with all this? Does he know something, or is he really paranoid? Must unpack and write a few emails.

The moment I turned on my KI, my friend Singo Berta said hello through it. Apparently, he have been doing a lot of reaserch recently, but unfortunatley he didn't think the "line" was safe ( I didn't know you could bug KI's). So, we decided to have a meeting tomorrow in his Gahrseen. He didn't want to send the link until five minutes before the meeting, he said. I am starting to think he has become a little paranoid while I was gone.

Why Gahrseen of all places? I do not think that it is a coincidence that he choosed the most secure Age. He usually likes Teledahn, and spends hours there feeding the creature that Douglas Sharper named "Shroomie".

Talking about Douglas, no one have heard of him for a while now. As I said, Cate said that he was going to continue his research in Negilahn.
Everyone is so quiet on the forums and on the KI...
As if they are waiting for something to happen...
Something Big...

Nickey up to no good

Well, Nick isn't on probation any more.
'Cause he's fired.
I never saw that one comming. Well, I guess I was right, that you shoulden't mess with Cate. Apparently he broke his probation rules, and a DRC saw it.
Strangely enough, I have a feeling that we have not seen the last thing of Nick White. Later that evening, several members saw both him and Sharper himself beeing in Teledahn. Are the rolls about to change?
Is Nick going to be the rebel Sharper once was? I guess that only time will tell...

Also, I have not gotten acsses to any of the maintainer suits yet. The stone in Gahrseen is strong, so I can't get into the "suitmachine". Me and my friend, Kevin, discovored it together. It is always exciting looking for new changes in the city, new areas to explore, and new journeys to take.
Eventually, we found it, The stone was very well-hidden, in the Tokotah rubble. My friend wanted me to link first, and without hesitation, I obeyed. I stepped foward, kneeled, and placed my hand on the glowing panel.
I, once again, felt the sickening lurch, and saw the world around me melting out of exictence.

The Great Shaft. It feels so... strange to return. The pedestal where the Direbo book once lay. The small beds the D'ni used when they had travelled days and days, to or away from D'ni.
And of course, it was the journal. Watsons journal.
I picked it up, and began to read. Still no new entries.

Cate payed a visit to the Cavern yesterday. She talked about many things, that Sharper was back, that Minkata was the next Age to be released, and that Nick was on probation. I guess the DRC did not like that he got so many female friends. Two weeks probation, she said.
I don't think you should mess with Cate. Might turn out ugly.

Tetsonot

When people have mentioned the area Tetsonot, I have always imagined a swamp-like area, similar to Teledahn.
Well, last night the DRC released Tetsonot, and I don't think anyone was prepared for what it acctually looked like. It is underwater, which you notice directly when you link in to the pod, becuse you have water up to your knees! The pod is leaking! However, it seems to have holes in the bottom, because the waterlevel stays at the same hight.
When I linked into the pod I had one word in my brain. Darkness. All dark. The only lightsource is a weak red emergency-light in the celing. And you can't see anything through the windows, I think it's to deep.

I got the portal today. It showed on the middle floor, and worked like the others. When I got the finall slate, I admit I was expecting something speciall. So I linked to Relto.
Nothing. No fireworks, no nothing.

Found a book in Edanna today. The cover says J'annin. Never heard the name before. They did not have a Reltobook. So, if the Great Zero somehow got "non-callibrated", what would they do?
Fortunatley, I have a Relto, and therefore I could finish. It was a nice fealing, when I slowly went through the Great Zero Callibration Centre, and placed my hand in the slot in one of the four machines.
It beeped, and I stepped back.
For about two seconds, nothing happened. And then my KI started showing coordinates.
Unfortunatley, it just shows coordinates in the Cavern, and not in any of the other Ages.

Oh, and I realized I have not been in Edanna for a while. I simpely did not have the time.
As I am writing this, I am fingering on the cover to the book.
I will make an expedition there soon, but not today. Today, I will relax, maybe go to the Beginners Bevin tour. I find them very informative and, yes, relaxing.

And, unfortunatley, I have homeworks to do. Great.

Let the hunting begin!

Ah, finally back in the Cavern.
And, Vicktor Laxman made an interesting post on the DRC forums some time ago. It is a beautiful place, with lots of machines and alien technology.
When I put my KI in the slot I must say that I was a little dissapointed, when the imager showed not four remaining missions, as I though it would, but fourteen!
How am I supposed to manege another fourteen missions?!?
Oh well, at least I have now gone through at least half of them.
I am rather surprised however that Laxman has not showed up to officially tell us that they are working?
It is one thing to do it on the forums, and a completely other thing to do it in the Cavern.
When I think about it, I realised that no DRC member showed up last week. It was not a normal message, but a message for "Customer Care".
It said that the cavern would be closed down for maintaincnce, and would open soon.
Oh, I thought, that's bad, then I can't link there after the tour.
So I continued and linked to the Beginners Bevin.
A ResEng was there, and I said Hi to him. He imediately linked out.
I thought it was pretty rude, not answering me, but before I could do anything, I felt my Reltobook get warmer and warmer, and suddenly, I linked. I did not know where. I did not know how. But I linked.

I arrived at home. Fortunatley, no one saw me link in.
But how did the DRC do it?? They must have used the lattice, and somehow connected it to Relto.
Or maybe they let out a small amount of the bio chemical gas the D'ni died of. That way, all the books would have linked when the gas touched them...
And how did they link us to another place than Relto?

And the bad thing is, I cannot link back. The panel is dead. All black.
And, worst of all, I do not know how long the DRC means by "soon". Two minutes? Two months?
I will just have to wait and see...

Heek, anyone?

Spent most of this day playing Heek.
It's a nice game, similar to Rock-paper-scissors. Only in this game you use beetle, pen and book.
Unfortunatley, not many people want to come near me, since I'm having a cold. I still maneged to win some games (and loose some to, but that's beside the point).
I spent a little while in A beginners bevin as well. I think I will join the tour later today. Every day there is a tour there, for people that are new in the cavern. Some of them have barley gotten their KIs!
The best things about the tours is in the end, when you can ask questions.
Also, people are starting to talk about something they call "The descent". Or, it is not an Age, more an area in an Age.

It is a desert, with large white stones and big mountains by the horizon.

I have yet to see an animal there, but a person in the city was kind and sent me a picture. I will not post it here, it recuires to much work, but the creature looks a bit like an Urwin. Not to odd, as they both belong to the same world. I guess that there is a portal in Payiferen too, but I have yet to find it.

As for the page, a new one came yesterday. I take back everything bad I have said about Yeesha!

This was a tree page, not like the one in Kadish Toelsa though, 'cause this one gives you trees with leaves!
I took some neat pics, and here is the best one (according to me):

And apparently Marie Sutherland is back in the cavern after her long stay on the surface, I think she said she had some family issues. She said she would be staying down here, if her mom doesen't say that she need her again.

Oh, and, the snow in Eder Delin has melted again, I hope that Laxman show up again soon so he can tell us what causes the sudden temperature issues.

Yeesha gettin' lazy

Yesterday it was the first of April.
No spark.
It arrived today instead, in on of the prisoncells in Gahrseen. It is beautiful there, watching the sunset and all the little animals. I have placed the book in my relto, so I can get there quickly. I think it will be really nice as a foodage. But, on the bad side, it is not connected to the lattice. So my KI does not show where I am, and, well, I can't use my KI at all there. And my digital camera is acting up there too, so it might take a while before I post fotos.

Apparently Cate was in the city not long ago, and she left a map in the museum:

I have (with much effort) transelated some of the words on it, and the middle, big island is named Payiferen!

I also see Negilahn and Dereno!

So, this must mean that the pods are in the same age...

hmmm....

And, I have heard that some ResEngs have found another body in Dereno. Looks like the one in Negilahn. I really wonder what could do such a thing....

And, finally, the stained glass project is doing fine. I have left the pieces by the lava in Eder Gira, so I can shape them as I want them.

Well, that's about it. Thereof the 5 minute gap in the end.
And, as I said, I started the chatlog in the middle of our conversation, and I had just asked him if Payiferen (hopefully the nextcomming Age) would open soon.
And, as you see, he answered "weeks, not months".

I have also been offered a rather interesting book from one of my friends. I have said lately that I wanted some kind of Food-Age, and yesterday he showed me one. Actually, I would not call it a food-age. More of a Natural-Age.
It is called Edanna. He said it had been in his familly for generations, apparently one of his relatives took it from an Age which name I can't remember right now.
I will study it later.

The expedition results

Sorry I haven't posted this eariler. Was busy.
Sharper, Nick W and Rils have been to Negilahn, outside the pod.
They were (according to Rils) maby one mile away from it. And they didn't see any predators. But they did see an animal. Dead.
Blown appart.
I wonder how that is possible? There were no footprints around it, except for some marks in the trees.
Nothing seemed to have been eaten from it, so it was whole, except form that it was... blown appart.

Nick was also in the Cavern yesterday, and I was there! He didn't say much of interest though, except that Sharper was on a meeting with Cate, and that she maybe would close Negilahn down. Maybe.

Nothing else to report, except from these strange Bharo apperances... Maybe it was a Bahro who killed all those animals in Negilahn? I have thought about the Words of the watcher recently... especially book two, section 5. "When destruction comes, other ages will not save you."
Maybe this is the beginning of a new destruction? As Yeesha said...
Destruction is comming.

Things are moving...

Hello again!
I've been busy on the surface lately, but still maneged to make some trips down.
I've also checked out the DRC's website, www.drcsite.org , and found some very interesting things. It is always nice to see when they update that page, couse it's not a thing that happens often!
I have noticed that an Age, that earlier had no name, has gotten one AND moved up one phase. Minkata, it's called. Reminds me of a star. Maybe it looks like Toldhemer, with all the planets? But NIck said it is some sort of desert... Oh well, we shall see.
Things are happening in Payferen as well. The phase five test is scheduled for the 24. Maybe that is another of those podages? I think that there is a puzzle in Dereno as well, but I will think more about that later.

And Ahnonay is delayed, and so is The Watchers Sanctuary. The Ahnonay temple however, is scheduled for release on the 12th of April. Ah, it will be nice to see Ahnonay again. I hope I remember the solution.

Ok, I admit it!
Last night I linked to the barons office. I stood watching the Teledahn book for a while, and then went to the desk. His journal was lying there, as always. With shaking hands I picked it up, and begun to read.
A new entry.
As expected.
Apparently he was on the surface, too, this weekend, to watch some team. Don't know if it was basketball, football, or some other nice sport. Nick went with him, but he apparently forgott to tell Rils. I hope he didn't wait all weekend for their little trip to Negilahn.
I really hope they will make the trip soon...
It will be interesting, I think.

Birthday on the surface

Not much exploring today, since it's my birthday.
Having visits from relatives, and not much time to check out Relto or the Cavern.
Yesterday there was a parade for st Patrics day, and I was in it. Everything worked fine, Rand Miller, the person who made many games about the D'ni and different worlds, wer there and was leading the parade. My hood was one of the hosthoods (I think there were 5 in total), and after the march, we went to st Patrics bevin. Rand Miller held a speach, and then there was a party. I left quite early, due to some KI problems I had. My buddies were not showing up when they linked in, I hope that Laxman is informed. I instead went to my hood again, where there were, perhaps, 5 people, talking about various things. I joinded the conversation for a while, and then linked back home.

And a few days ago, I made a trip back to Dereno. This time I was way more prepared, and had some aproppriate clothes with me. Even a thermos filled with hot chocolate, which I drank while I was watching the fishes. It was quite peacefull there. And then I heard it.
BANG!
Something heavy was walking, banging, or doing some other thing, on the roof of the pod.
I wont pretend I was playing hero.
I was scared to death and emideatly linked to the Nexus, which I had next to me.
When I came back, an hour later perhaps, all was calm again. I do not know if it was my imagination, if it was just some heavy iceblocks smashing towards the wall, or if it actually was something there. Or someone.
I do not know if I have time for exploring tomorrow either, but I certanly hope so.

Dereno

Brrr...

It sure is chilly there. This one is partly UNDER water! You can see rays and fishes there. And over the water... I think that they'll be of on that little "trip" soon now, or at least according to Nick. I wonder why they'll bring Nick along. Maybe because the DRC doesn't want him to be left alone yet? He said that he was going to Negilahn later, with Doug Sharper. And, apparently, some guy named Rils. I talked to Rils once, on some forums some explorers have set up. Apparently Rils have started "D'ni's zooligical society", and mentioned this to Nick.
So, now Nick wants to take him with him to Negilahn.
I'm glad that the DRC are finally paying some attantion to us explorers.
Or, at least, some of us.

*Cough*

Yeah...
Haven't bee in the cavern today, since I'm sick.
I suspect Sharper woulden't be so found of me if I on our first meeting sneezed him in the face and gave him a cold.
I wonder if he, unlike the DRC (most of the time, anyway), works on the weekends? This is the third age with day and nighcykle I visit (eder gira and earth are the firts two), and it was pretty cool. I turned on the generator, and suddenly saw out into the jungle again.
It was then the sounds started. Like a kind of bad-guy-laughter, it came, closer and closer.
I looked around, paniced, but did not see any animals. And then I heard it. I do not know if it was my imagination, but I could swear I heard something dragg its claws on the outside of the pod.
I totally freaked out. And ran. So I never really saw the enormous portal of tiny little sparks appear in front of me. I just felt the linkingsensation when i touched it. And then it was too late.
I felt myself appear in a bahrocave. With another stonecirkle in the middle, hovering over a hloe in the ground, miles above the bottom of the cavern. I saw a journey symbol, and touched it. But it didn't look like one of the old symbols. It was a new one.

So, I now have a new beginning of a stonecirkle. But what for? I do not see the point in all these journeys.
I understood the first one. I understood the one in D'ni. I understood the path of the shell.
But not this.
God, it was so lonley down here back then.
I am glad that the DRC is back, and that the people is as well.

Douglas Sharper

It's been a while since I heard from my friend Singo Berta, so I was happely surprised when I saw that his KI signal started once again.
He had some improtant news, he said, and we decided to meet in my hood. When we got there, he dragged me with him into the eggroom. I have always thought that that room is facinating. In some way (don't ask me how) it seems that it is rejecting KI signals, ie: you can't hear anyone if he is in that room.
So he dragged me in there, closed the door from the inside and sat down opposite me.
"He is back" he said.
"Who?" I asked, surprised. I must say I was pretty amused by the whole situation.
"Sharper. Douglas Shraper"
Wow. It was true. He said, smiling now.
Hmpf.
We spent the rest of the day in Tsogal, in a little pavilion, watching the pollen and the skyes.

So, the man is back, is he? Negihlan, he called it.
I've done some research, and found out it was som kind of museum-age.When the D'ni linked there, they arrived in a large metal room, with large windows. The age was a place to study, to learn from. Maby even to find out if it was safe to make little changes you have made up.
So the D'nis museums were not like ours. They were interactive. So, when there was one half hour left, I linked to the city (I was afraid that it might be ful otherwise), and, like everyone else, started protesting.
Everyone was hoping that Cate Alexander would arrive, although I think that nobody really thought she would. So I think everyone was rather surprised when she linked in.
The whole sit in was a joke.
When she came, everyone immediately started talking. You haden't time to read one thing.
When we realized that the city was ful, some people decided that the sit in should be moved to the Beginers bevin instead. Cate however, didn't seem to get that, and thought that the sit in was over, and linked out.

Michael Engberg linked in later in the evening, and said that he had talked to Cate. He said that they were going to make some sort of compromise. Hmmm...

Oh well, I took some pics with my KI, but unfortunatly not with my camera. Katva showed it to me yesterday.
When she said Shroomie, i thought she meant one of the many 'flappers' that are everywere in the age. But oh no. She used some feeders, and soon Shroomie was there. She looks a bit like a lobbster, but she's brown and pretty big. Hmm, when I read Sharpers journal more carefully I saw that he mentioned Shroomie several times. When I saw her, my hand went automaticly to my hip. Not to my reltobook, but to my other hip, where my digital camera is. Or, at least, used to be. I realised I must have left it in my relto. Stupid me.
Oh well, now I can at least say, finally, that I have seen Shroomie.

All old and no news makes Viv a dull boy...

Just so you know - Viv is my nickname in the cavern. The moment I got home from school, I ran up to my room, locked the door and linked to relto. When I got to my hood, some of my friends asked me if I would like to solve Eder Delin with them. I said yes (I had nothing else to do), and when I linked to Delin, the good thingies began to happen.
While I was waiting for the others to arrive, I made a short tour around the age, and on one of the benches by the hoodbook I found a... page! I quickly put it in my book and told the others about my discovery.
They wern't surprised. The page had been there for perhaps one day...
Oh well, everything can't be good...
I helped them to solve Delin, and when I linked back to relto, I saw that I had gotten a nice decoration...
A bench! I tried it (of course), and it was pretty comfy...
Then it was time for the second good thing.
My friend, Singo Berta, came down, and told me something wonderful!
The DRC website is being upgraded, and, the best thing of them all, he said that the DRC are planning to relese a new age on Thrusday, february the fifteenth! It'll probably be Eder Tsogal, since they have talked about it for a long time now...

I really hope that they will open the library soon too, couse i wanna explore!

A dock, but no ship

I was in Teledahn.
But I was not on the link in spot, in the hut. Neither was I by one of the cloths.
I looked around. I stood on a plattform, maybe five meters long and one meter wide. There was no conection to the other pathways. There was a feeder on my right side, but it was out of order.
The most interesting thing on the plattform, was a page. It lay on one of the ends of the little pathway.
I picked it up, and looked at it. It had a strange symbol on it. I opened my reltobook, and placed the page inside it. I heard a humming noice, and understood something had happened in my relto. I linked.

Wow. I now have my very own dock. I waited for some kind of ship to arrive, but nope, not even a submarine...
It'd be nice to have some kind of vehicle, cruising in the mist. I guess I have to wait a VERY long time for that to happen...

An empty city...

When I linked to the city, I was shocked to see that I was the only one there... I looked on the age-player list, but nope, not a soul. The DRC coulden't have kicked us out again, could they?
And then I remembered, I had used my citybook, so I was in the hood instanced city. No wonder no one was here, since all of my neighbors were on the surface.
Instead of talking to other explorers, I decided to explore the city. I had not been here for a while, and perhaps the DRC had opened something new?
When I reached the ferry terminal, I was once again shocked! There was something there... I slowly stepped closer... It had a linkingpanel, but it was not a book...
I checked so I had my relto with me, and then I put my hand on the panel, and fellt how the world around me dissapered and how everything went black...

the beginning...

When I stood on my relto, looking out over the mist, I made a decision.
I wolud share my, erhm, adventures with other explorers.
So I quickly linked back to the surface, logged into the computer, and wrote this.
Not much to see, at least not yet. I hope that I over the next weeks, months (or, gulp, years?) will fill this blogg with my adventures and explorations in the cavern.
I'll be heading back to relto now, to see what new surprises the cavern has in store for me.
